Therefore, the faster the coating speed, the harder it is to obtain uniform coating, and the substrate will often be broken and even the scraper will be damaged due to excessive force, when the adhesive exhibits thixotropic properties, the leveling of the adhesive layer at the time of coating is poor, and it is difficult to obtain a smooth adhesive layer.
When the viscosity of solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesive is small, its rheological properties are close to that of Newtonian fluid. When the viscosity is large, it is generally manifested as pseudoplastic and rheological properties. In addition, the viscosity of the glue can also be easily adjusted with solvents as required. Therefore, the coating technology of solvent-based adhesives is generally easier to master. For cross-linking type muse adhesive, if the polymer has been partially cross-linked before coating, it will bring great difficulties to the coating operation. When cross-linking is serious, gel particles or even small pieces will appear in the glue solution, making the production impossible. The coating performance of the emulsion type pressure sensitive adhesive is more complex, so its coating technology is not easy to master, and various problems often occur in the coating process.
